Regions: Polar Tundra

The polar tundra are found in the northernmost region of the globe. This is probably because the further away from the equater you get, the colder it is. The polar tundra is the coldest of all the biomes.

What continent is made up mostly of polar tundras?

  1. My biome, Coniferous Forests, are far North because of the same reason Polar Tundras are. I think that these two biomes are similar because there are bears in both and it is cold in both. North America and Asia are both made up of mostly Polar Tundras. I would like to go to Alaska because it seems like a very cool state and Polar Tundras are different than most biomes.
